Our Mission

Transformation Ministries exists to build a movement of mission-empowering relationships by:

Deepening and Developing

pastors as spiritual leaders

Supporting and Initiating

viable church planting partnerships

Coaching and Networking

churches toward greater health and missional vitality

Every Pastor

Transformation Ministries will recruit, deepen and develop pastoral leaders who lead their churches to health, the planting of new congregations and transforming their communities for Christ.

Transformation Ministries will help churches, whether old or new, to grow in a healthy manner producing mature disciples who transform their communities. The number of growing churches in the Ministry will always exceed the number of declining churches.

Every Church

Every Church

Transformation Ministries will help churches, whether old or new, to grow in a healthy manner producing mature disciples who transform their communities. The number of growing churches in the Ministry will always exceed the number of declining churches.

Every Community
Transformed for Christ

Transformation Ministries will support and initiate viable church planting partnerships with a goal of starting new churches at a rate of three percent (3%) per year of the total number of churches in the Ministry. These new congregations will reach the diverse people groups of the Ministry and become healthy covenanting churches.

Day of Prayer

Annually in the Fall

The Day of Prayer is all about prayer. As a God-dependent movement, we take prayer seriously. On this day pastors and leaders gather to hear from God, and to pray for each other, their churches, and their cities.”

Annually in the Spring

Next Event:

Thursday, May 24, 2018
Beachpoint Church, Huntington Beach
Presenter: Ray Johnston and Andrew McCourt

For pastors and leaders of TM’s middle-sized churches. Elevate events are free, one-day seminars designed to provide leaders with helpful, often challenging information and out-of-the-box thinking that will make them more effective in their ministry contexts. Usually featuring a guest speaker, along with TM’s own experts, Elevate provides practical tools and tips, plus time for building connections amongst church leaders.

What attendees are saying:

“I received practical information about implementing church philosophy.”

“We were challenged to change, lead with new vision, and become a healthier church.”

“Elevate provided direction to change our focus from serving numbers, to serving the community.”

“It was helpful to hear what other ministries are also experiencing.”

Annually in the Spring

Next Event:

Thursday, February 22, 2018
Eastside Christian Church, Anaheim
Presenter: Gene Appel

A free, invitation-only event for the pastors of TM’s largest churches. NetX provides a place to explore the issues that are of highest concerns in these churches. The agenda is set by the pastors, and lead by one of the pastors. It’s a time of mutual collaboration, learning and encouragement.

What attendees are saying:

“I always leave the Net-X event with a better understanding of how to tackle the problems that face our church. And it is always good to know that others have faced the same problems and found ways to solve them.”

Dane Aaker

"The NET-X not only ignited creativity for ministry, but was an amazing time of support and encouragement. The humility of the leaders was so evident and the wisdom from lessons learned, journeys travelled and mistakes to be avoided was invaluable. We even felt led to make a significant staffing hire as a result of our time at this event. Can’t wait for the next one!"

Bill Staffieri

Mustard Seed

Annually in February

Next Event:

Monday, February 26 - Tuesday, February 27, 2018
Aventura Sailing Association, Dana Point
Presenter: Jim Powell

More info

A two-day paid event for pastors, ministry leaders and their spouses, from small TM churches (200 or less). The Mustard Seed conference provides helpful insights, encouragement and practical tools from speakers who understand the dynamics and issues unique to smaller churches. Held in a relaxed setting, this event also provides time for connection and mutual support amongst fellow small church leaders. The Mustard Seed event also encourages these pastors and their spouses to use this event as a mini-getaway to focus on each other while in Dana Point!

What attendees are saying:

“I heard authentic stories from real pastors; it was encouraging to hear from small churches who are doing things right.”

“It was helpful to get practical ideas to improve and grow our ministry, from churches who have challenges like we do!”

“Its okay to be small, as long as your church is healthy! Great encouragement!”

“We enjoyed the time away to support our marriage, and reflect on where our church is going, and how we can be better.”
